The story of the Anunnaki is one of the most controversial when it comes to the origin of mankind. But it is the oldest creation story ever found. The reason these stories are so controversial is because they have been translated from Cuneifrom in various ways, resulting in conflicting translations. But also because it goes against all existing modern religions. The rulers within these existing religions try to do everything they can, not to have to link the origin of their religion to the Sumerian scriptures, although the comparisons and references in the stories are usually astonishing.
The story of the Anunnaki was written in Cuneiform script, which was found on an estimated half a million clay tablets in old Mesopotamia. The story tells the arrival of the “Gods”, we use this name “Gods” to better understand the connection with the Modern Religions. The big difference, however, is that the Anunnaki (The Gods) are not described as invisible entities, as modern religions do, but the Anunnaki (The Gods) are described as tangible beings of flesh and blood. The cuneiform tablets are the oldest scriptures in the world, and could therefore have been used by many later emerging religions as a source of information.
The storyline begins, according to the information on the clay tablets, in modern day Iraq (Mesopotamië). To better understand these writings, let’s compare the scriptures with what we know today. Perhaps the most fascinating thing about these stories is the fact that they speak of other planets and life forms. Knowing that these tablets are between 5,000 and 12,000 years old, we may wonder where the writers of these tablets got such information from. Was this information whispered to them by an invisible “God”? Or was this knowledge passed on to them by a more advanced life form?
The Sumerians (the authors of the clay tablets) begin their story about a “winged” planet called Nibiru. According to the writings, this planet is said to be beyond the farthest outer edge of our solar system, with an elliptical orbital period of an estimated 13,000 years. This planet Nibiru, is also described on other tablets as “The planet of the crossing”. This name was given by the fact that the elliptical orbit causes it to pass through the center of our solar system every, approximately 13,000 years. According to the scriptures, the atmosphere of this planet, which is inhabited by a more advanced life form, would gradually lose strength and thus threaten life on that planet. The Sumerians call this life form the An-unna-ki, which literally means, Those who came from The Heavens to Earth.
For this first part of the story, let’s take a look at what we know today. Could such a planet exist? And if there were another unknown planet far beyond the edge of our solar system, could it have an elliptical orbit of about 13.000 years? Well, I’ll give you the answer already. Probably. Caltech researchers have found mathematical evidence suggesting there may be a “Planet X” deep in the solar system, with an eliptical orbit between an estimated 10,000 and 30,000 years around our Sun. The question is then, how could the Sumerians have known that? This knowledge requires highly advanced technology.
The Sumerians described this planet as a “winged planet”. It’s hard to imagine a planet with wings, but how did they get to this description? The writings refer to problems with the atmosphere on the planet Nibiru. The Sumerians also wrote “why” the Anunnaki came to Earth, and it was not to create Man in the first place. The writings state that they came to Earth to mine resources that could help restore the atmosphere on their home planet. The scriptures refer to the fact that Nibiru’s atmosphere was thinning out. Just as a comet leaves a tail by emitting gases and hydrogen, a planet could also leave a very broad tail as the atmosphere is gradually blown away. We know this phenomenon because it is highly probable that it also happened on the Planet Mars. And when you see the Planet in front view, it can very well look like this planet has “wings”, as illustrated in the photo above. So did the Sumerians actually witnessed the passing of the planet Nibiru while loosing it’s atmosphere, and described it in their own words as “wings” ?
So Is it actually possible to restore an atmosphere with mined resources? And yes, it is possible. Heavy metals in the atmosphere trap CO2 and heat on a planet. Since the planet Nibiru would be very far away from our sun when the planet is at its farthest distance, it can get quite cold there. And when the atmosphere thins out, which normally keeps the heat in, it gets even colder. Unlike Earth, Nibiru apparently has just the opposite problem. Research shows that very small particles of heavy metals in our atmosphere contribute to the greenhouse effect. So if you pump very fine dust of heavy metals, such as gold, into the atmosphere in large quantities, you can cause the planet to get warmer or at least conserve its heat. So what the Sumerians wrote could be quite realistic.
So far we know that what the Sumerians wrote about the planet Nibiru may well be reality, and should not be immediately dismissed as a myth or made-up story. The moment NASA, ESA, or any other space agency succeeds in locating that unknown planet, the Sumerian story may well become much more important than the importance we attach to it now. But what about the Anunnaki themselves? when did they come to Earth and do we find any evidence that they mined heavy metals here? What many people do not know is that the Sumerian scriptures are very precise and detailed, which gives us a very good understanding of what they meant by their texts.
According to Sumerian writings, the first Anunnaki arrived on Earth about 445,000 years ago, five thousand years after Nibiru’s atmospheric problems began. How many Anunnaki first arrived on Earth remains unclear. Some tablets speak of 12, others of 750. What we can conclude from the scriptures, is that the leader of the group Anunnaki was called Enki. Enki is also mentioned as a son of Anu. The Sumerians wrote “Led by Enki, a son of Anu, the Anunnaki descended on Earth”. According to the Sumerian tablets, it is they who built the first settlements on Earth like Eridu. I cuneifrom it is written “E.ri.du” wich translates as “house in faraway build”. Untill today Eridu is considered to be one of the first cities in the world after the Deluge, and was established in Mesopotamia, nowadays Iraq. Many other religions refer also to this city, as it was build by the “Gods” or “Kings”, and therefore it is also referred to as “The city of the first Gods”.
What is striking about this text is that the “mainstream archaeologists” estimate that the city was built in 5400 BC. Besides the fact that it fits better in “their” timeline, there is no way to prove when this city was actually built. The only reference is the dating of an old tablet. But no one can say for sure that the city was built at the same time the tablet was written. It’s like finding a book on the street in New York and having it radiocarbon-dated to determine when New York was built.
